importantInformation Campground Improvements !! The new restroom/shower project is expected to begin the week of September 26, 2016 and should be completed by Memorial Day weekend of 2017. The new building will be located near campsite #22 in the beach camping loop and will feature four individual use restrooms with showers and will be ADA accessible. Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice. See HERE for all current swimming closures! To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. **BEACHFRONT SITES 2 - 30** During PEAK season (end of June to the end the of August), the beachfront sites, 2 through 30, are Sat. to Sat. ONLY, 7 or 14 day stays ONLY. You cannot have more than 14 nights total for the beachfront site at Southwick Beach per name, per address or per phone number during PEAK Season. Swimming is permitted only when lifeguard is on duty. If your site allows for pets, only 2 per site are permitted. Current rabies certificate required. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6ft at all times. No person under age 21 shall possess or consume alcohol. Kegs or beer balls are not allowed at the campsite. There is a recycling program in effect. Please keep fires in designated areas only. Looking to reserve for just 1-night? If you make your reservation within 3 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. This applies only to campsites. Peak Season: During peak season, a camping party and their equipment may occupy a site for a maximum of 14 continuous days. After which, the camping party and equipment must leave the site and facility for 2 days before registering again for another site.
